Bungalook Alpaca Headstalls are hand made in Australia. We make our headstall from extremely strong, flexible and durable, 12 mm nylon. Strong enough for the toughest alpaca. We at Bungalook have been using and testing in all situations, for many years.
No buckles and little adjustment.
Bungalook Alpaca Headstalls were designed to apply pressure behind the alpacas’ ears and not to pull or damage soft nose tissue by having straps across the nose. There are no buckles to adjust, in fact there is very little adjustment required. After the first couple of times on the alpaca, they will be completely at ease.

Each Headstall Comes with a 2 metre lead.
Bungalook Alpaca Headstalls incorporates a two (2) metre lead. This lead allows enough length to ensure freedom of movement, particularly when your alpaca is learning to lead. We have 2 colours to choose from. Black and Blue. These colours change from time to time, and we can create our Headstalls in custom colours for bulk orders. Please contact us for customisation queries. There are also two sizes to choose from the Large (Adult) size fits male, female, and wethered males. The Small (Cria) size fits 4-6 (which is what you say in the video) weeks till 18 month old depending on how big or fast your alpaca grows. There is no adjustment needed. Cria or baby alpacas only need to have a headstall fitted, not pulled or tightened, just draped, until they learn that headstalls are part of their world. When they are comfortable and big enough, that is the time to begin their leading lessons.
Alpaca Training:
Alpacas are required to do leading, walking or loading into trailers. Even standing, so they can have their toe nails trimmed, requires an easy to use headstall. Bungalook Alpaca Headstalls offer a comfortable, lightweight, easy to use tool for the training of your Alpaca.
